Newly Inducted Pro Football Hall of Fame Coach, Coach Jimmy Johnson, is making his way up north for Summer 2025 to extend his world class fishing tournament from South Florida to Atlantic City, NJ for the 5th annual event, with weigh stations available in both ATLANTIC CITY, NJ at Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget & OCEAN CITY, MD at Sunset Marina. Competition Days are July 14-18th, teams pick 3/5 of the days to compete.

Annually, Jimmy Johnson's "Quest for the Ring" Championship Fishing Week, Florida (JJFISHWEEKFL) is hosted in March at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Guitar Hotel with fishing happening across South Florida featuring renowned parties, a guaranteed $1 Million purse, and entry into Coach Johnson's famed Ring of Honor, where an annual coveted championship ring is at stake. Coach Johnson has teamed up with the Atlantic City Sports Commission to add on to the series and bring this high stakes and overly entertaining competitive sportfishing experience to Atlantic City, July 13-19, 2025, hosted at the Frank S. Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget. Over 80 boats have fished annually, and we are ready to do it again for 2025 with the expanded marinas helping us increase the opportunities for boats to fish where they need, with the week culminating at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ!

The theme for 2025: FISH FOR YOUR SPECIES IN 2025! As Coach Johnson always says, "COME & GET IT!” Jimmy Johnson's Atlantic City ‘Quest for the Ring' Championship Fishing Week (JJFISHWEEKAC) will celebrate the magic of Atlantic City as a destination tournament and will feature extreme competition and celebratory parties each night of the week for the teams and their guests and families. When making your plans for next summer, think about all the fun guests at JJFISHWEEKAC will have, PLUS added fun during the week as we expand to two weigh stations for teams going out of Ocean City, MD.

In Atlantic City, the July 13-19, 2025 week will include a kick-off party at the Golden Nugget Ballroom on Sunday, a secondary registration day on Monday for those who can’t make it Sunday, a choice of pick 3 out of 5 days of leave it out on the waters tournament competition, Daily Dockside Parties at the JJFishweekAC Hospitality Suite inside the Golden Nugget Ballroom, where teams can enjoy a taste of Atlantic City restaurants, drinks, and music, an ultimate gifting experience, where a wagon will be provided to help you roll out all the goods, and a closing party hosted at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino that is NOT to be missed!

The prize structure for 2025 has been updated to allow for teams to fish for their species and not lock into categories they are not interested in. There is MORE Calcuttas and optional categories that fit your request to fish, so YOU can have MORE FUN and fish FOR MORE in 2025!

EVEN MORE EXCITING NEWS FOR 2025: 2 WEIGH STATIONS will once again be available at ATLANTIC CITY & SUNSET MARINA in OCEAN CITY, MD.

All events will take place in Atlantic City, but teams will be able to fish from Norfolk to Hudson and weigh in in Atlantic City or Ocean City, MD. UPDATED based on popular request: Teams will be able to fish and weigh in at EITHER weigh station! All events will continue to take place in Atlantic City, NJ, with some added daily hospitality for 2025 in Ocean City, MD, but for convenience teams will be able to weigh in at either weigh station.

Boundaries: The north and south boundaries for the tournament have been updated for 2025. NOTE: A boat many not travel more than 125NM offshore.

• The south boundary is 36*55.006 N 74*37.956 W
