Jimmy Johnson's Atlantic City Quest for the Ring Championship Fishing Week

Newly inducted Pro Football Hall of Fame Coach Jimmy Johnson teamed with the Atlantic City Sports Commission to extend his famed South Florida tournament series to Atlantic City. Hosted at Frank S. Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget, more than 80 boats fish annually.

The FL series (held each March at Seminole Hard Rock Guitar Hotel) features renowned parties, a guaranteed $1 Million purse, and entry into Coach Johnson's Ring of Honor — where a championship ring is at stake.

Atlantic City Weigh Station

Teams weigh in at Frank S. Farley State Marina at Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, NJ. All official events take place in Atlantic City.

The Week

For Atlantic City: Sunday kick-off party at the Golden Nugget Ballroom, Monday secondary registration, pick 3-of-5 fishing days, daily dockside parties at the JJFishweekAC Hospitality Suite (taste of AC restaurants, drinks, music), an ultimate gifting experience (wagon provided to roll out the goods), and a closing party at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Teams pick 3 of 5 competition days, with weigh-ins at the Atlantic City marina.

Boundaries

145NM from the head pin at Atlantic City, NJ. All boats must fish within this limit. A boat may exit boundaries only while fighting a fish — turn on GPS tracking and video coordinates with angler as indisputable proof the fish was hooked inside boundaries. Do not resume fishing until back inside.
